Today was hottest day this year in southeast Wi. 95 in Waukesha with heat index at 105. Only 80 at 9a.m. so I thought I'd "Shoot" awhile. I went to local school and spent 2 hours cooking in heat before I had enough. I was happy to find $2.07,(6 quarters,5 dimes,7 pennies). No oldies but this is a newer school and expectations were low anyhow. Still happy about ratio of larger denominations and I have a lot of ground yet to discover. With how large this space is, and how little an area I covered, I think it still has potential. A diamond ring would be nice! We will see.

Hi Andy, well today was our first hot day high 80's with humidity and tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat. Don't think I'll take my detector with me to work (heat in the car is not good for it.) Friday and Saturday look promising, I've been even thinking of hitting a Tot Lot before work now that it's light enough out, still have to decide on doing that, afraid I'll get to work late. I want to congratulate you on the find for the museum, Great Job!!

Hi Audiz, thanks for the nice comment! Today still very hot and humid, but I awoke at 5 and decided to try this newer school again. Two hours was enough. Even though this school is only 20 years old, I don't believe it has ever been hit. Found $3.22 including 7 clad Quarters, 4 clad dimes, 7 pennies(1-1945), and my 1st dollar coin....Gold in color had me excited for moment til I discovered its new. Oh well, It'll spend! $27.13 to date. 20 wheaties including 1914(no D "NUTS")1916,1918,1920,1927. Still only 1 silver 1940 merc. Man those silver are few and far between, but they will come when I find right spot. I have a spot in central Wi. where my Grandpa had a farm from 20's-60's now run by cousin, house built in 1845 torn down in 60's and rebuilt across road. All field now but I have aerial photo from 50's that gets me excited. Looking forward to family reunion in August....Guess what I'll be doing? Sorry for the rambling on, must do job search, Ya I suppose I should get one, been almost 5 months now. Chat soon, Happiest of Hunting to ya. ~Andy~
