scolded today but worth it

Went past an old pumping station today that was real old brick and said what the heck. 20 minites and I got a real light hit reading dime. the deeper coins are real hard to find and this was no exception. 10 minutes and a large stack of dirt later out pops my silver dime. 1902-S barber is my first one in 5 years. Not in great condition but I am happy. Moved on and got another dime hit at 7 inches and dug for 10 min. again and a city truck pulled in and told me I was tresspassing and told me to fill hole and leave or he would call cops! Dang that other dime is bothering me big time now. So went down to coin roll park and mustered up another $1.56 in clad. To date now stands at $104.51HH~Andy~

  1. Hi Andy, Sounds like it was a good location, too. It's a bummer when that happens. The only time I had that happen was at that one park they told me no Metal Detecting allowed in that town, I just said I didn't know and sorry at least he didn't threaten to call the cops and I had no holes for it was in the wood-chips. You are the King of Clad/silver, know way will I be able to catch up, LOL!!!! We'll see. This weekend is supposed to be the start of Indian summer for several days. On the way out to the beach this morning at the end of our street waited for the light to turn, there was a car behind me that had a little over 2 inches of snow on the hood and roof, where that came from I don't know for there was no snow that I could see, but was very cold. Ah, don't let it get you down you'll hit the end of the rainbow, but not if I get to it first LOL!!!!.
